Sometimes, usually every month when you have to pay your auto insurance bill, you wonder why you have to buy auto insurance in the first place.  It has been years and years since you have filed a claim and you feel like you are just spilling money over when you can be using it somewhere else.  Well, have you ever heard of that term better safe than sorry?  The overused expression is very well placed here.  If you ever find yourself in an accident you will be very thankful that you have auto insurance.

There are a number of factors that can help you save money when you buy auto insurance as well.  Make sure you do your homework and see what kind of discounts your insurance company offers for good drivers, good students and other possible discount titles.
